About Sevier & White Interiors
Brooke McGuyer and Meg White are co-owners of Sevier & White Interiors. Influenced by their many travels abroad and time spent living in New York City, Brooke and Meg brought their fresh and savvy take on interiors to Nashville, Tennessee.
Brooke is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human and Organizational Development with a minor in Art History. She also obtained her Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design. Meg, a graduate of the University of Georgia, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design.
Both Brooke and Meg’s design careers began in Nashville on the same day in 2004 at Bradford's Interiors, where the pair first met and became close friends. They soon realized that their collective passion for interior design would be even greater once they joined forces, and they launched their Nashville-based firm Sevier & White Interiors in 2007.
Brooke and Meg’s inventive take on traditional design is formal yet casual, sophisticated yet comfortable. They love mixing patterns, textures, and layer shades of similar tones in the same room. From draperies to custom bedding, their priority is paying attention to the smallest details.
In addition to their design partnership, Brooke and Meg opened an affordable, mid-range antique and home furnishings store in 2007, aptly named Petit Chateau. Over the next three years, the duo established relationships with furnishing vendors from all over the world. In 2010, Petit Chateau closed its doors, allowing Brooke and Meg to better serve their clients of Sevier & White Interiors.
Now a new mother, Brooke also has a recent understanding of “kid-friendly” design.
